McKeowan Trophy
September 20 – September 21
The 2025 LESC McKeowan Trophy will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, for the keelboat fleet with an 1100 start time and on Sunday, September 21, 2025, for the dinghy fleet also with an 1100 start time.
Cup and trophy events are larger, member only racing events with earlier starts and keelboat and dinghy fleets racing on separate days over the course of a weekend. They include the Loch Earn Enterprise Cup, St Fillans Cup, McKeowan Trophy, and Robertson Cup. Like the weekend series, cup and trophy events are also run by volunteer officers using the club’s permanent marks depending on conditions.
See Race Hut before the start for specifics on fleet starts, starting procedure, etc. Courses are displayed on the course board outside the hut. In general, there will not be a pre-race briefing.
Prizes awarded at the end of the season.
The volunteer race officers are set annually by the Sailing Secretary so that all members contribute. Remember to arrive an hour before the first start if on the duty team and to arrange a swap via DutyMan if you are unable to do your duty.
