Fees

Membership Fees

Fees apply to calendar year commencing 1st January, with an initial deduction for months prior to joining.

Loch Earn Sailing Club has adopted direct debits (either 12 monthly debits commencing 1st January or optionally a single annual debit on 1st March) as the required payment method for all membership and storage fees.

Upon joining, a probationary period of one calendar year will apply to all new members in which they will be expected to participate/volunteer. Receipt of your application will be confirmed either by email or by phone. New applications are considered at each General Committee meeting (usually held monthly Jan – Oct).

Caravan Plot

£444

Members and their guests only

Vehicles not allowed on grassed areas

LESC maintains a caravan site suitable for holiday/temporary use with 30 plots available to let annually to enable members who actively sail or substantially assist in the running of the club to more fully participate in all club activities.

The plot site annual fees are set by the committee and members at the AGM to cover all the site compliance, running and maintenance expenses plus consideration for future costs for planned replacement/maintenance of infrastructure, etc. Plots can not be sublet.

Caravans installed on each plot are privately owned and new units require approval from the general committee. Each plot has a water supply with all other services (gas, electricity, waste, rubbish, etc.) the responsibility of the caravan owner. The club maintains a small toilet block located centrally on the caravan site. Each plot includes space for one vehicle and vehicles are not allowed off the site’s roads.

For a list of allocation criteria and additional details, see the Caravan Bye-Laws.

Camping

£3/night

Members and their guests only

Vehicles are not allowed on the camping green

Camping at LESC is open to members and their guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Bookings must be made in advance via the Caravan Convener on camping@lochearnsc.com or via the Camping Inquiry form. Upon confirmation of your booking, you will receive an acknowledgment and instructions.

We have only eight bookable tent camping plots and a plot is only big enough for a standard two-person tent. Larger tents are welcome, but they will require more than one plot and may incur additional fees. We have two campervan or car top tent plots. Vehicles larger than campervans require special arrangements. If you have any concern your vehicle might not fit, email camping@lochearnsc.com.

Minimum spacing between tents/campervans and caravans shall at all times be no less than six meters. Campers are required to manage this requirement respectfully. Vehicles are not allowed on the camping green and parking is limited on club grounds.

Property Tags

£5/tag

Ownership tags are required for each member-owned item stored on site including trailers, launching trollies, etc. except boats themselves.

All member owned property including boat launchers and trailers must be identifiable by a yellow ID tag engraved with your membership number. Where items are stored stacked on top of each other, one tag will suffice.

New tags require a £5 fee collected automatically via GoCardless direct debit.

If a tag has been lost or boat has changed owner within the club, please tick the box for a free replacement tag.

Lockers
